Why You Should Visit Walt Disney World This Summer

At Teacup Travel Co. we’re often asked “when is a good time to visit Walt Disney World?” In truth, there is no BAD time to visit the most magical place on Earth. However, some times of year are just better than others. One of the more underrated times to visit is during the summer months.

One reason to make your way there this summer is because you’ll have a good chance of dealing with lower crowd levels. This means less time spent waiting in lines for attractions, and more opportunities to maximize your day with great experiences for the whole family. If you want that “bang for your buck” feeling, here it is!

Walt Disney World has also enticed us all with a great promotional deal that is currently offering big savings to most summer guests.

  • Save up to 20% on most nights July 11 – August 20 and September 15-28.

  • Save up to 30% on most nights August 21 – September 14.

That’s over two months of potential savings on most nights! We advise taking advantage of this offer by locking in your booking soon.

While low crowds and money savings sound like a dream, some people remain unsure of a summer visit because of the heat. Let’s be honest, central Florida definitely does get hot during these months. Fortunately, Walt Disney World offers many ways to beat the heat while maintaining that amazing vacation fun!

  • The four theme parks are loaded with indoor attractions and shows. Soak up some air conditioning and/or shade to go with the magic.

  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open now for guests to have a splashing good time.

  • For those staying on-property, each of the Walt Disney World resorts have pools of their own. Taking a break during the heat of the day for a dip in your resort pool is a great way to refresh and recharge before heading back to the parks.

  • Make you way over to Disney Springs for a change of scenery. The Walt Disney World shopping district also includes lots of great food, live music, and Splitsville Luxury Lanes bowling alley! It’s a great change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

  • For those visiting during select August/September dates, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a great add-on!

  • Love food & wine? Epcot International Food & Wine festival covers some of these promotional dates!

Low crowds, money-saving promotions, and cool down activities will make your summer trip to Walt Disney World Resort a breeze. Contact a TTC travel advisor for more information and a free no obligation quote today!
